Biography
Charles Robertson earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University, is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, having practiced Family Law since 1969, and is a trained Mediator, Arbitrator and Collaborative Lawyer. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a Member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, and has been listed in the Best Lawyers of America and in “Super Lawyers”. Mr. Robertson has served on the Family Law Council of the State Bar of Texas and was a Member of the Examination Commission for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law. He is a past chair of the Family Law Section and the Judiciary Committee of the Dallas Bar Association. He was also a founding member of the Legal Assistant Advisory Commission of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Robertson has spoken on topics related to Family Law at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to the substantive Family Law topics, he also speaks on marketing, client relations and the automation of the law office. He has taught graduate level courses at the University of Dallas and at Southern Methodist University.
