Biography

Mr. Leibel’s practice is focused on both probate and estate planning and commercial litigation. He has represented clients with very simple to very complicated estates. His broad range of experience enables him to assist clients in deciding what is the best estate plan for his or her specific situation and assisting the executor, administrator or trustee with the administration of the decedent’s estate or trust, including the sale or transfer of real property, business entities or other assets. Mr. Leibel has extensive trial experience in state and federal court. He has represented clients resolving disputes by jury and non-jury trial, arbitration, mediation and direct negotiations. Mr. Leibel is proficient in all types of civil litigation, including defending and prosecuting ERISA claims; commercial disputes among third parties, shareholders and/or partners; secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy adversary proceedings; seeking prejudgment relief such as sequestration and garnishments; and representation of fiduciaries with regard to claims on behalf of or against estates or trusts.
