Charles Robertson earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University, is boar- certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, having practiced family law since 1969, and is a trained collaborative lawyer. He is also a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, and has been listed in the Best Lawyers of America.
Mr. Robertson has served on the Family Law Council of the State Bar of Texas and wasmember of the Examination Commission for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law. He is a past chair of the Family Law Section and the Judiciary Committee of the Dallas Association. He was also a founding member of the Legal Assistant Advisory Commission.
Mr. Robertson has spoken on topics related to Family Law at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to the substantive Family Law topics, he also speaks on marketable client relations and the automation of the law office. Mr. Robertson is also a trained and experienced arbitrator.
